Logistics Coordinator

We’re seeking a detail-driven and customer-focused Logistics Coordinator to join our Operations team in New York where you’ll be at the heart of our logistics operations ensuring shipments are accurately planned, executed on time, and communicated clearly to customers. Your day will involve coordinating shipments, resolving issues before they escalates, and proactively communicating updates that build customer trust. By ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency, you will play a key role in delivering time-sensitive logistics solutions that directly impact customer success and business performance. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, to deliver seamless logistics solutions, while proactively managing issues and maintaining high standards of data accuracy and compliance. Role Responsibilities Overview: Ensure shipment data is entered accurately and compliantly to enable smooth global transportation Coordinate shipments end-to-end, working across internal teams and external partners to deliver on time Communicate proactively with customers to provide updates, resolve issues, and enhance their experience Monitor and manage shipment execution, identifying risks and acting quickly to resolve delays Capture and manage shipment deviations, ensuring transparency of costs and operational impacts Maintain accurate records and documentation to support compliance and operational excellence Support continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and contributing to better processes What We Offer You: Competitive salary: $26 - $29 per hour Medical FSA and Dependent care FSA Medical coverage with company-funded HRA to offset individual deductible Medical & Dependent Care FSAs Short-term disability & sick leave Parental leave (maternity & paternity bonding) 15 days annual leave + public holidays + floating holidays + birthday leave 401(k) and Roth IRA with up to 6% match Employee Assistance Programme Work Structure: Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 Fully onsite at our New York office. Opportunity to shape global operations and develop your career within a growing global organisation What You’ll Bring: Proven customer service or client relationship experience Strong attention to detail and data accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills Problem-solving mindset with ability to resolve issues independently Comfortable working with systems (TMS, CRM, MS Office) Experience in logistics/freight forwarding within the life sciences / pharmaceutical industry is desirable Familiarity with customs, dangerous goods, or shipping compliance would be helpful Additional Information: This is an individual contributor role with indirect influence through cost-aware decision-making (e.g. vendor selection, exception cost tracking) to positively impact budgets.
