Work Environment\n

This role is structured to provide flexibility and work-life balance through a fully remote setting. You will engage in therapeutic sessions via telehealth platforms, ensuring you reach clients in the comfort of their own homes. Our outpatient office serves as the hub for our operations where communication with a multidisciplinary team occurs regularly. Typical working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for comprehensive support for clients during standard business hours.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct psychotherapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, effectively addressing a variety of mental health, relational, and emotional challenges.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that align with the specific needs and therapeutic goals of each client, integrating client feedback to continuously enhance their therapy experience.

• Utilize effective evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed approaches in your sessions.

• Assist clients in acquiring coping strategies and improving emotional regulation to manage their conditions more effectively.

• Make referrals to external service providers and collaborate on cases requiring additional support or specialized care.

• Participate actively in team meetings and clinical case reviews, contributing insights and discussing treatment approaches to ensure comprehensive client care.

• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards to support client progress and treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role as an LMFT will predominantly involve working with diverse clients, including individuals coping with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and family dynamics. You will engage with clients from various backgrounds, requiring cultural competency and an understanding of unique familial structures and dynamics.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related discipline.

• A valid and active LMFT license in Georgia is required.

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on clinical experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating proficiency in family and couple dynamics.
