Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments to understand the unique needs of couples and families seeking therapy.

• Provide counseling sessions to couples and individual family members, tailoring therapeutic approaches to fit diverse dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based methodologies to address a variety of issues, including communication problems, grief and loss, conflict resolution, and adjustment to life changes such as separation and divorce.

• Monitor and document client progress by maintaining accurate and timely records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals within the clinic to ensure holistic care for clients.

• Engage in ongoing education and training opportunities to stay current in the field of marriage and family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Myers Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse client population, including adults, children, and adolescents. Your expertise will be instrumental in addressing issues such as:

Qualifications\n

• A valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential issued by the state of Georgia.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field.

• A nonjudgmental, empathetic approach to therapy, helping clients feel safe and valued.

• Effective organizational and time-management skills to ensure optimal case load management and administrative duties.

Compensation and Benefits\n
