【Temp】Air Import Coordinator

Position Air Import Coordinator Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Air Import Coordinator to manage and support international air import operations. This role involves coordinating shipments, handling documentation, ensuring customs compliance, and providing high-quality customer service in a fast-paced logistics environment. Essential Duties Prepare and process air import documentation, including customs paperwork, commercial invoices, and packing lists Verify shipment arrivals, review pre-alerts, and resolve any discrepancies Coordinate with airlines, truckers, warehouses, and customs brokers to ensure smooth and timely cargo movement Apply knowledge of Incoterms in shipment handling and coordination Arrange deliveries and monitor customs clearance status Track and trace shipments and provide timely updates to customersPerform Proof of Delivery (POD) entry and related documentation Issue billing invoices, process subcontractor payments, and follow up on accounts receivable Respond to customer inquiries and maintain professional communication at all times Perform general administrative duties including filing, data entry, and preparation of delivery orders Document irregularities and elevate service issues to management when necessary Working Hours / Working Style 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch break) Onsite Temp-to-hire position Please note: Due to a current hiring freeze, conversion to permanent employment is not guaranteed at this time Working Location Charlotte, NC Salary / Benefit

• 23–$25/hour (with relevant experience)
• 21–$22/hour (without experience)
