Details Cardiac Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting Night shift schedule, 7:00PM-7:00AM, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours) 13-week contract assignment Rotating weekend and holiday shifts required May float to other Carle Health facilities including Methodist Hospital, Young Minds, Pekin Hospital, and Proctor Hospital Uses EPIC charting system Requirements Active IL RN license in good standing (temp license accepted) BLS certification (American Heart Association) Minimum three years of relevant nursing experience ASN required, BSN preferred EPIC charting experience required Level 1 Trauma experience required Additional Information Responsible for a designated patient caseload utilizing the nursing process across the assigned shift Completes initial patient assessments and develops individualized plans of care Implements and modifies nursing interventions based on continuous evaluation Maintains accurate, up-to-date documentation to support care coordination across the healthcare team Reports and corrects safety hazards to support patient and employee safety Engages in professional development and peer feedback Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify (no local candidates accepted) RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract Prior contingent workers who completed 1 year at Carle Health must have a 6-month break in service before returning First-time travelers may be considered American Traveler Job ID P-749850.
