Contract (20 Weeks) | Days, 3x12 Hours (7:00–19:30) | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, high-volume ED border setting serving as Medical Surgical/Telemetry overflow (excludes critical care)
• Manage a diverse adult to geriatric patient population with a variety of diagnoses at a ratio of 1:5 on days and 1:4 on weekends
• Adhere to scheduled shifts including every other weekend and holidays as they fall per schedule
• Float within the specialty, including MS/T units, as needed in an extender capacity
• Complete all required compliance onboarding, including labs within 72 hours of contract signing and all compliance documents at least 5 days prior to start

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland or a valid Compact license at time of submission
• BLS certification (AHA only) required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• CPI certification required – The Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience; first-time travelers with strong MS/Tele experience will be considered
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (permanent address) to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification (AHA only) preferred
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced medical surgical or telemetry environment
• Comfort with floating within scope and specialty with no restrictions
