Job Summary Customer Service Associates (CSAs) report to a Store Manager and are responsible for the daily duties involved in maintaining high levels of customer service through offering a clean, safe, and friendly store. Essential Job Functions Our CSAs are the face of the store and are passionate about customer service. Essential functions include: Assisting customers with laundry card use, machine selection and operation, retail purchases, and wash-and-fold orders, and addressing any other questions or concerns Accurately operating the register or point-of-sale system Maintaining thorough knowledge of products sold and their uses, and encouraging customers to purchase additional items Ensuring retail items are neatly stocked at all times and communicating promptly with management when inventory or janitorial supplies run low Using log books to report building or equipment maintenance issues, and immediately informing a supervisor of any unsafe situations during a shift Accurately and consistently using log books; selecting the right equipment for the amount of laundry; resolving customer concerns to the best of their ability; informing a supervisor of any customer complaints or claims Adhering to all company policies and procedures, including attendance and uniform standards Following all safety practices to prevent accidents and injuries to customers and employees Understanding responsibilities during emergency situations such as fires, floods, and severe weather Maintaining a safe environment inside and outside the store Continually walking the floor to pick up debris, empty trash containers, check restrooms, and perform other cleaning duties as needed Job Requirements Must be able to stand for up to 8+ hours per shift Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds Must be able to communicate with all customers and associates in a professional manner Must work well with others and remain calm in stressful situations Previous customer service or retail experience preferred Ability to resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely, professional manner Ability to perform tasks as assigned by management Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overnight hours What We Offer Benefits for full-time employees Bonus Program Company Uniforms Provided Competitive Wage Employee Discount Program Employee Assistance Program Flexible schedules for full-time and part-time employment Fun, Energetic Work Environment Holiday Pay Promotions Referral Program We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and make employment decisions based on merit, qualifications, and business needs.
