Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments during intake sessions to evaluate clients' mental health status and establish treatment goals.

• Implement and deliver high-quality individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing culturally responsive approaches to meet the diverse needs of clients.

• Refer clients to additional healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists, when medication management or specialized services are necessary.

• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes efficiently using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring adherence to confidentiality and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills and approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary clientele may include individuals struggling with a variety of mental health issues, particularly adolescents and adults facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, and eating disorders. By understanding their backgrounds and experiences, you will be instrumental in cultivating trust and fostering a therapeutic alliance that promotes healing and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A completed Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of four years of direct clinical experience working with diverse patient populations in a counseling or therapeutic setting.

• A robust understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities, along with cultural competence in therapy.

• Demonstrated skills in crisis intervention, with a composed demeanor while working in challenging circumstances.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this rewarding position ranges from USD 70,000 to USD 100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
