Senior Business Intelligence Specialist

Analytics Solutions Designer
We are seeking a highly skilled individual to enable intelligent business decisions by designing robust analytics solutions. This role requires a blend of business acumen, data and analytics proficiency, and technical solution architecture, leveraging multiple tools for data integration, data modeling, and advanced data visualization.
Remote, with preference for candidates near Dearborn, MI
Competitive, based on experience and qualifications
Required skills and qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in a relevant field
- Expert-level SQL proficiency, including Window functions, CTEs, and nested data
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery)
- Strong understanding of product analytics, focusing on user behavior metrics such as Retention, Churn, Engagement, MAU/DAU
- Ability to act as a bridge between Engineering and Product teams
- Bachelor's Degree
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Master's Degree
- Experience with dbt (Data Build Tool)
- Experience with Amplitude or similar event-based platforms
- Background in subscription models
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Create strong business partnerships through stakeholder interviews and solution designs
- Design, implement, and maintain ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and end-user tools using advanced visualization tools like Qlik, Dash Enterprise, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis of business problems and data issues to formulate recommendations for business improvement and technical efficiency
- Identify and implement avenues to optimize and enhance data analysis, interpretation, and visualization tools
- Design and implement new metrics, techniques, and strategies to improve business KPI, metrics unity, and end-user adoption
- Partner with Data Engineering, Data Science, and Data Management teams to improve data completeness, usability, and performance
