Make a meaningful impact in a high school setting by supporting students’ growth and success as an Occupational Therapist. This contract position offers the chance to empower teens and collaborate with a dedicated educational team near Lakeville, MN. Use your expertise to help students thrive both academically and personally during the 2026-2027 academic year.
Qualifications:
- Valid and active Occupational Therapist (OT) license for Minnesota
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt interventions for high school-aged students with diverse needs
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment
Your Role:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to high school students as part of an Individualized Education Program (IEP) team
- Assess students’ needs, develop treatment plans, set goals, and monitor progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support classroom participation and daily living skills
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation in compliance with school regulations
- Provide consultative support and strategies to educators and parents, promoting positive outcomes for students
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school community
