Step into a role where your expertise in occupational therapy supports students’ growth and success across two welcoming school communities near Lakeville, MN. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic blend of in-person and teletherapy work, allowing you to leverage your skills in school-based settings, home health, and virtual service delivery.

You’ll provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to a manageable caseload—fewer than 15 students per school—working collaboratively with education teams to develop and implement IEPs. Both schools require your support for two days each week, with the possibility of an additional half day as needed for meetings and documentation. This flexible schedule allows for a balanced workweek of 35-40 hours.

What we’re looking for:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Minnesota
• Experience in school-based OT; home health and teletherapy backgrounds also valued
• Proficiency in addressing diverse needs, creating IEPs, and documenting progress
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Comfort with adaptive technology and virtual therapy sessions
• Strong organizational skills to manage time across schools, meetings, and paperwork

What you’ll do:

• Evaluate student needs, write and implement individualized therapy plans
• Deliver direct, consultative, and teletherapy OT services
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering insightful input on student strengths and strategies
• Complete timely documentation, progress reports, and legal paperwork
• Work collaboratively with educators and families to ensure student success
