Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with Grow Through Life Counseling, your responsibilities will include:

• Advocating for patients and families as they navigate the healthcare system, ensuring they receive the support they need at each step.

• Educating patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment plans, and interventions, reinforcing understanding and promoting active participation in their care.

• Diagnosing and treating various mental health disorders, coordinating care with other professionals when necessary to provide comprehensive treatment.

• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific needs, preferences, and circumstances, ensuring a personalized approach to therapy.

• Conducting regular therapy sessions to provide ongoing counseling, evaluate progress, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on clients’ feedback and developments.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to work with diverse individuals and families facing a variety of challenges, including relationship conflicts, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. You will provide support for our clients as they seek to improve their mental wellness and develop healthier relationships, all while fostering a deeper understanding of themselves in the process.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A valid state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience delivering mental health services in a health-related setting, demonstrating effective therapeutic techniques and methodologies.

• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and other privacy, health, and safety laws relevant to counseling practices.
