We're excited to welcome a Senior Accounting Manager to our Global GL Operations Accounting team, where you'll play a vital role in our growth and strive for operational excellence. This position demands strong accounting, operational, and leadership skills, as well as effective communication with various Finance teams, including Tax, FP&A, Financial Reporting, Payroll, and Accounts Payable. Your contributions will significantly shape this dynamic technology company. Responsibilities: Manage month‑end and quarter‑end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis for global accounting, covering Operating Expenses, Capitalized Software, and Operating Cash. Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Source‑To‑Pay teams to guarantee accurate accounting and financial reporting. Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements for consolidated global audits and statutory financial statements of international subsidiaries. Supervise and review deliverables from junior accounting team members, promoting their professional growth. Identify and implement enhancements to accounting systems, processes, and controls for improved accuracy and efficiency. Lead or contribute to critical financial infrastructure projects such as vendor transitions, system integrations, and automation efforts. Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures. Maintain current documentation of processes and procedures for all responsibilities. Address ad‑hoc financial requests and analyses, along with other special projects as needed. Manage parallel accounting records for international subsidiaries in accordance with local GAAP, ensuring valid reconciliations and documentation for all adjustments while supporting monthly management reporting. What we look for in you: CPA or equivalent qualifications required. Over 13 years of experience, ideally from a Big 4 firm or a publicly‑traded fintech/SaaS company. A minimum of 4 years of direct team management or leadership experience. A proven track record of collaboration with various business functions, particularly high‑level management, and essential project management capabilities. Deep knowledge of US GAAP and SOX regulations. Experience leading the month‑end book close process. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and recommend process enhancements while managing diverse tasks independently. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. A robust work ethic and capacity to collaborate effectively with large and cross‑functional teams. Proficiency with large ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills, plus experience with data visualization tools is advantageous. Demonstrates a responsible approach to using AI tools and technologies in daily tasks, continuously learning and applying insights to enhance efficiency, cost savings, and quality. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Netsuite, FloQast, and Google Suite. Familiarity with SOX control environments. A basic understanding of digital assets and the crypto economy, or an eagerness to learn. Elementary SQL knowledge and experience with reporting tools like Snowflake or Looker. Background in banking, fintech, financial regulatory agencies, or professional services with financial institution clients.
