Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Professional Counselor will engage in the following core responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' histories and determine suitable treatment options.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies for each client.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to individual client needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients process trauma, develop coping strategies, and encourage holistic healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and integrated care for all clients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, equipping clients with immediate coping mechanisms.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and effective coping strategies.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards to support client care continuity.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings, as well as ongoing professional development activities focused on trauma-informed practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Insight Therapy, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population including adults, couples, and adolescents who have experienced trauma. Our clients come seeking assistance for a variety of challenges ranging from anxiety and depression to PTSD. You will play a pivotal role in fostering healing and resilience within this community.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid LPC licensure in the state of New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits\n

At Insight Therapy, we offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package. This includes:
