Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide high-quality psychotherapy and other mental health services tailored to the needs of patients experiencing anxiety, depression, and end-of-life concerns.

• Conduct in-depth assessments of patients’ mental health, considering their emotional, behavioral, and social functioning to create comprehensive care plans.

• Develop and implement treatment strategies that are evidence-based, culturally sensitive, and personalized to promote optimal health outcomes.

• Engage in compassionate and empathetic communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to foster trust and collaboration.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that encourage coping strategies, emotional expression, and improve overall psychological well-being.

• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans in electronic health record systems to ensure continuity and coordination of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals facing significant life challenges, including terminal illnesses and the psychological repercussions surrounding end-of-life care. Your role will be vital in addressing mental health needs, improving coping mechanisms, and offering emotional support for both patients and their families during one of life’s most challenging transitions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
