Job Title : Accounting Supervisor (Manufacturing Experience REQUIRED)

Location : Simi Valley, CA - 100% On-Site

Shift: 8am-5pm

Compensation Range: 125k-145k base + bonus

Employment Type : Full Time, Direct Hire

About the Role:

The Accounting Supervisor oversees the Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)functions within a business unit or site. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate processing, analysis, and reporting of financial data, as well as developing and maintaining accounting systems, policies, and procedures. The position also includes forecasting, trend analysis, and regular collaboration with internal stakeholders, including accounting teams and leadership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and internal policies
• Oversee AR and AP operations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of subledgers
• Prepare, record, analyze, and report financial transactions
• Maintain and monitor internal controls to ensure effectiveness and compliance
• Develop, implement, and improve accounting systems, policies, and procedures
• Lead, train, and develop accounting staff to meet team and organizational goals
• Analyze financial data, trends, and processes to identify improvements and recommend solutions
• Support financial statement preparation, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Coordinate and review month-end and year-end close processes, including regulatory reporting
• Ensure alignment with corporate accounting objectives and systems
• Exercise independent judgment on complex financial matters
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 5+ years of AR/AP experience
• 3+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Recent SAP Experience
• 1-2 Years of prior supervisory experience
