Qualifications:

• Active Texas OT licensure required
• At least two years’ recent school-based OT or highly qualified COTA (school-experience required)
• Must NOT be a former district employee
• Ability to serve a caseload with ages 3–21, spanning multiple schools (within a dedicated zone)
• Strong skills in evaluation, ARD participation, and consultative services
• Willingness to travel between 6–7 assigned campuses within one area
• Familiarity with school health documentation systems (Excel, SHARES, Onward preferred)
• Must pass fingerprinting and credentialing requirements

Responsibilities:

• Deliver OT treatment and consultations as a lead provider (no COTA support)
• Maintain accurate evaluation, IEP, and treatment logs
• Rotate direct services among a caseload of 30–40 students (up to ~70 total, mix of consult and direct care)
• Attend multidisciplinary ARDs & collaborate with IEP teams
• Adhere to school schedules (8–4 or 7:30–3:30); full-time only, 35 hours/week
