Key Qualifications:

• Active Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license (Required)
• Previous school-based OT experience highly preferred; experienced COTAs considered if they have extensive school background
• Comfortable working with a caseload ranging from 70 total students (mix of consults and direct therapy, about 30-40 direct service)
• Willingness to travel within an assigned zone of 6-7 schools based on ZIP code
• Strong evaluation, documentation, and IEP planning skills; familiarity with SHARES and Onward health software a plus
• Ability to attend ARDs, manage flexible scheduling, and independently oversee caseload (no assigned COTAs)
• Must not have previously been employed by this district

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver therapeutic evaluations and direct/consultative OT services to a diverse student caseload
• Collaborate on IEPs, keeping meticulous records in SHARES, Onward, and Excel logs
• Participate in ARDs and multidisciplinary team meetings, providing expertise and recommendations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring effective progress monitoring and family communication
• Maintain a structured schedule, typically working 8:00-4:00 or 7:30-3:30, following the school calendar
