Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students' growth as a school-based Occupational Therapist in the Houston area. This full-time, contract role requires on-site presence and focuses on delivering essential services across an assigned zone of six to seven schools serving ages 3-21. You'll be assigned a caseload designed to balance consultative and direct OT support, with targeted efforts to maintain a manageable direct-service caseload of 30-40 students.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure required
• Previous experience working in school settings highly preferred
• Open to highly experienced COTAs with a strong background in schools
• Experience conducting evaluations and participating in ARD meetings
• Competency with documentation in SHARES school health software, Onward software, and maintaining IEP-related logs in Excel
• Must be able to meet time-sensitive credentialing and fingerprinting requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy evaluations, consultations, and direct treatment to students aged 3-21 on a rotating schedule
• Travel between a specific zone of 6-7 schools within the Houston area, based on your home ZIP code
• Develop and maintain individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with IEP teams
• Document all services and sessions accurately and efficiently
• Attend ARDs and provide professional recommendations
• Serve as the lead OT for assigned schools, with no COTAs for assistance
