Bring your expertise in music therapy to a full-time, on-site contract opportunity supporting a vibrant school community near Rosenberg, TX. This role centers on delivering impactful music therapy services to students at Bright Futures Academy at Beasley Elementary during the 2026-2027 academic year (August 11, 2026 – May 26, 2027). Collaborate with a dedicated educational team, shaping individualized therapy experiences to help students thrive.

Key Qualifications:

• National certification in Music Therapy (required)
• Experience providing therapeutic services in school or similar settings
• Strong knowledge of assessment protocols, strategies, and equipment for music therapy
• Ability to tailor interventions for students with autism and developmental disabilities
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Current fingerprint clearance or willingness to complete district requirements

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group music therapy services according to student IEPs and campus expectations
• Assess students’ needs, track progress, and help determine eligibility for therapy services
• Design/adapt equipment and materials to support student achievement in the classroom
• Actively participate on ARD Committees, assisting with assessment interpretation and IEP goal setting
• Provide ongoing consultation and training for educational staff and parents about implementing music therapy strategies
• Manage therapy schedules and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines
• Foster a positive, developmentally appropriate learning environment for all students
• Support program evaluation and selection of adaptive materials
• Attend work reliably and participate in professional development to enhance your skills
