Talent Acquisition Specialist Part Time | Falls Church, VA, US 4 days ago | Requisition ID: 1005 Salary Range: $25.00 To $27.00 Hourly Job Location Job Location: Hybrid – In‑person in the Washington, D.C./VA Metro area and remote Reports to: Director, People and Culture Schedule: Part time (20 hours), various days throughout week About the Position We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to attract, engage, and hire exceptional early childhood education professionals and corporate team members who align with Brynmor’s mission and values. This position plays a critical role in building strong, mission‑driven teams across our centers and central support functions. Responsibilities Lead full‑cycle recruitment for center‑based and corporate roles Develop and execute sourcing strategies to build strong candidate pipelines Post positions, manage applicant tracking system, and maintain accurate recruitment data Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and center leaders Partner with leadership to understand staffing needs and workforce planning Conduct reference checks and support background check processes Ensure compliance with all state licensing and employment requirements during hiring Represent Brynmor at job fairs, community events, and university recruitment activities Promote Brynmor’s employer brand across recruitment platforms and social media Support onboarding processes to ensure a seamless new hire experience Track and report recruiting metrics such as time‑to‑fill and candidate pipeline data Collaborate with Director of People and Culture to continuously improve recruitment strategies Partner with the People & Culture Team as needed in other capacities Critical Competencies for Success Be a Role model for Integrity and Honesty: Has the highest standards of integrity and honesty. Anticipates staffing needs and develops proactive talent pipelines. Serves through Care and Collaboration: Demonstrates a highly collaborative style grounded in a service mindset. Builds strong, trusting relationships with Brynmor team and candidates. Drives Results: Strong sense of urgency and accountability. Meets or exceeds hiring goals. Continuously seeks better and more efficient recruitment processes to support organizational growth. Qualifications Clear, proactive oral and written communicator Minimum high school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred 2+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience Experience recruiting in early childhood education or education sector preferredStrong interviewing and candidate assessment skills Significant experience with job board platforms such as Indeed Excellent time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities Strong organizational and documentation skills Demonstrates strong attention to detail Ability to build strong professional relationships Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and HR platforms Skilled in employer branding and talent sourcing strategies Compensation and Benefits Brynmor offers competitive compensation and strong benefits including: Compensation range: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour Brynmor Early Education & Preschool is a Certified Women Owned Business and a Certified Virginia Values Veterans (V3) Business. #J-18808-Ljbffr Evolving Solution Services
