CareNow Cardio is seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our esteemed rehabilitation facility located in beautiful Miami Beach, Florida. Work Environment

This role will be performed onsite at our Miami Beach facility, where you will work within a multidisciplinary team that includes highly qualified Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists. Our clinical environment is designed to provide both comfort and functionality, with state-of-the-art equipment and therapy spaces that enhance patient treatment experiences. The position offers a typical work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate client needs and organizational demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to develop individualized treatment plans that focus on improving patients' mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities specifically designed to enhance physical health and alleviate pain.
• Educate patients on proper body mechanics, effective exercise techniques, and the implementation of home exercise programs that encourage self-management in their recovery.
• Administer therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, in alignment with established protocols and under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Effectively monitor and document patient progress, tracking key metrics such as range of motion and strength improvements to ensure each patient's treatment plan remains relevant and effective.
• Maintain an organized treatment area, ensuring that all required equipment and supplies are readily accessible for efficient therapy sessions.
• Collaborate within the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and optimize patient rehabilitation outcomes, drawing on the expertise of various healthcare specialists.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients as they navigate their recovery journeys, actively contributing to a positive therapeutic environment.
• Adhere strictly to ethical and professional standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and fostering trust within the therapeutic relationship.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• A valid state license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Strong foundational knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and the therapeutic interventions utilized in physical therapy practice.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations, embodying patience and empathy throughout the rehabilitation process.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of clinical experience as a licensed Physical Therapist, with exposure to a range of rehabilitation areas preferred.
• Previous experience in a multidisciplinary clinical setting, collaborating effectively with other healthcare professionals.
• Familiarity with advanced therapeutic techniques and current best practices in physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
