Work Environment

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will operate primarily in clients' homes, requiring both mobility and adaptability to various living situations. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized physical therapy treatment plans that address specific orthopedic needs, focusing on pain management, injury prevention, and muscle function restoration.
• Oversee and mentor physical therapy assistants to promote effective implementation of care regimens and ensure compliance with established treatment plans.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' physical abilities through diagnostic testing and functional assessments.
• Analyze clients' home environments to recommend modifications that foster independence and safety during rehabilitation.
• Provide direct physical therapy services, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and the application of physical agents such as traction and massage.
• Fit and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices as needed, providing expertise in modifications and liaising with physicians for optimal patient outcomes.
• Track and document progress through comprehensive clinical records, ensuring accurate reporting of changes in patient conditions and responsiveness to treatment.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary case conferences and contribute to developing, reviewing, and refining care plans in collaboration with the treatment team.
• Educate clients and families about physical therapy protocols, effective use of assistive devices, and overall rehabilitation strategies.
• Remain accessible to assist therapy assistants and continuously monitor treatment delivery in accordance with relevant state laws.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.

Compensation and Benefits

Therapy Motion Rehab Clinic offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
