Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments to evaluate patients' functional abilities, pain levels, and mobility restrictions, employing diagnostic testing as necessary.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluation findings, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, modalities, and interventions to relieve pain, restore function, and facilitate patient rehabilitation, adapting techniques to suit varying patient needs.
• Oversee and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants in client care, ensuring they are equipped to support therapeutic programs and adhere to the established treatment plans.
• Monitor patients' progress closely and document outcomes in clinical records, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Engage with patients and their families, educating them about physical therapy protocols and empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and technologies, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, collaboratively reviewing patient care programs and making recommendations that enhance treatment effectiveness and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT), completed at an accredited institution.

• Current and active license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Florida.
• Certification in CPR and a commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient rehabilitation facility or multispecialty clinic.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and proficiency in managing care teams.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
