Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients referred by physicians, ensuring comprehensive care tailored to their specific needs.
• Engage in hands-on therapy, employing various modalities and therapeutic techniques to facilitate recovery and improve patients' functional abilities.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with best practices and clinic protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care, employing evidence-based practices to enhance treatment efficacy.
• Consult, educate, and empower patients and their caregivers with knowledge regarding treatment processes, exercises, and recovery strategies.
• Maintain a focus on achieving utilization goals and relevant business objectives to support clinic operations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with primarily include those recovering from orthopedic conditions, but the role will also encompass a variety of specialties such as pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine. We emphasize a holistic approach to rehabilitation, aiming to restore not only physical function but also emotional well-being, thereby enhancing the overall quality of life for our clients.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited doctoral program in physical therapy.
• Current state licensure to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, as recognized by the American Heart Association.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with proficiency in electronic documentation and word processing software.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with patients and their families, demonstrating empathy and active listening.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings preferred, with a proven ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice methods and commitment to continued professional growth.
• Experience with specialized rehabilitation tools and methodologies relevant to various patient populations.
