Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring an accurate understanding of their unique contexts and needs.
\n
• Provide evidence-based individual and family therapy sessions tailored to the specific issues identified in assessments, focusing on fostering resilience and coping strategies.
\n
• Maintain meticulous patient records by completing billing, documentation, insurance authorization forms, and individualized treatment plans within specified time frames to ensure compliance with industry standards.
\n
• Develop crisis intervention plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and personalized wellness plans to support stability and ongoing mental health maintenance.
\n
• Create comprehensive discharge plans that facilitate transitions for clients moving to less intensive forms of services or independent functioning.
\n
• Adhere strictly to all federal and state regulations, along with NEHS policies and procedures, to provide the highest standard of care.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and continuing education opportunities.
\n
• Participate in regular case consultations and agency meetings to enhance interdisciplinary collaboration and integrate various perspectives into client care.

• Ensure that all licensure requirements are met, partaking in any mandatory training processes as required.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be working with a diverse array of patients, including children, adolescents, and adults seeking support for various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. Your role will be crucial in helping clients navigate their challenges while applying evidence-based practices that foster healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field is required, qualifying you for licensure.

• Valid licensure as a mental health therapist (LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW) in the state of Massachusetts is mandatory.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in outpatient mental health counseling and familiarity with culturally sensitive practices are highly regarded.

• Experience working with diverse populations is a plus, along with familiarity in telehealth delivery models.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with licensure and experience.
