Work Environment

As a member of our team, you will work in an onsite rehabilitation facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology and therapeutic tools. Your work schedule will typically be Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured and balanced professional life. In this nurturing environment, you'll collaborate closely with fellow healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, rehabilitation specialists, and administrative staff, to ensure a seamless continuum of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to establish personalized rehabilitation goals and objectives that align with their unique needs.
• Effectively manage a patient caseload, aiming for individual treatment sessions that focus on maximizing recovery and rehabilitation outcomes.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that incorporate a variety of modalities and therapeutic techniques designed to improve mobility and functionality.
• Administer hands-on therapies focused on enhancing range of motion, strength, and overall physical capabilities.
• Provide patient education regarding treatment processes and self-management strategies to minimize reliance on medication and surgical interventions.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously to optimize treatment outcomes and adhere to best practices in clinical documentation.
• Collaborate and maintain open communication with a diverse team of healthcare providers to discuss case progress and refine treatment strategies.
• Motivate and inspire patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, providing guidance and support to foster a sense of achievement and independence.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness using standardized assessment tools, making adjustments to care plans as needed to ensure patient-centered outcomes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in physical therapy and engage in continuous professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse patient demographic that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various chronic conditions impacting mobility. Your expertise will be essential in designing personalized rehabilitation strategies aimed at restoring each patient's full function and independence.

Qualifications

• Required: Master's degree or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT).
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions concerning your licensure.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop and implement individualized exercise regimens.
• Adept in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist, particularly within orthopedic outpatient settings, is highly regarded.
• Demonstrated ability to engage patients with effective communication and motivational techniques.
• Experience in a multidisciplinary clinical setting is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
