The Alex Wilson Farmers Insurance Agency is looking for an energetic and motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help grow our agency by connecting with potential clients and creating new sales opportunities.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is comfortable on the phone, enjoys talking to people, and isn't afraid of a fast-paced, goal-driven environment. You'll be responsible for making outbound calls, starting conversations, gathering information, and helping turn prospects into qualified insurance opportunities for our sales team.

What You'll Be Doing

As an SDR, your primary focus will be prospecting and creating opportunities for the sales team. You'll spend a significant portion of your day communicating with potential customers and keeping the sales pipeline moving.

Responsibilities include:

• Make a high volume of outbound calls to prospective customers.
• Connect with leads and identify potential insurance needs.
• Gather and verify information needed to prepare insurance quotes.
• Generate qualified quote opportunities for the sales team.
• Consistently follow up with prospects who have expressed interest.
• Maintain accurate notes and activity within the agency's CRM.
• Work toward daily and weekly activity and production goals.
• Communicate effectively with the sales team to ensure smooth lead handoffs.
• Participate in ongoing sales training, coaching, and development.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is confident, persistent, and comfortable initiating conversations. You don't need to know everything about insurance on day one, but you should be willing to learn and able to take coaching and put it into action.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Strong verbal communication and phone skills.
• A positive, professional, and outgoing personality.
• Comfort making a high volume of outbound calls.
• Self-motivation and the ability to stay productive throughout the day.
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills.
• A competitive, goal-oriented mindset.
• Basic computer and CRM proficiency.
• Previous sales, telemarketing, customer service, or call-center experience is preferred but not required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
