Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from your home environment while collaborating with a dynamic and supportive team. Our community health clinic is situated in Elgin, Illinois, but we serve clients from various locations. As a part of our teletherapy team, you will be equipped with a secure telehealth platform to conduct sessions, ensuring confidentiality and convenience for both clients and practitioners.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct confidential remote therapy sessions with individuals and small groups through our secure telehealth platform, ensuring a safe and supportive space for clients to share their challenges.

• Perform comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ emotional, social, and mental health needs, creating individualized treatment plans that address their unique circumstances.
\n
• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention strategies for clients experiencing urgent emotional distress, aiming to ensure their safety and promote stabilization.
\n
• Assist clients in navigating community resources and social services that enhance their overall quality of life, including referrals to local programs and support groups.
\n
• Document all client interactions, maintaining accurate and confidential electronic health records (EHR) including progress notes and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and community service providers, to coordinate care and facilitate comprehensive support for clients.

• Educate clients on coping mechanisms, self-advocacy skills, and self-care practices to empower them in their mental health journeys.

• Remain abreast of developments in clinical social work and teletherapy by participating in ongoing professional development and attending relevant training sessions.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois or state of practice.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.

• A minimum of three years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly in providing therapy or social work services, is preferred.

• Proficient in the use of telehealth technology and digital communication platforms to conduct remote therapy sessions effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working in a community health or integrated care setting is a plus. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and continuing education in teletherapy practices will enhance the effectiveness of your contributions to our team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
