Key Responsibilities\n

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments and developing individualized treatment plans to address the diverse needs of patients.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as solution-focused therapy, behavioral activation, and motivational interviewing.

• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, including primary care physicians and other mental health professionals, to provide holistic patient care.

• Monitoring patient progress with regular assessments and adapting treatment strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Administering psychotropic medications in conjunction with medical providers, with a focus on treatment adherence and potential side effects.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with a hospice population, where many clients may be experiencing significant emotional distress and mental health challenges. Your work will involve providing therapeutic support to assist them in coping with end-of-life issues, grief, and loss, and fostering emotional well-being during difficult times. Empathy and exceptional communication skills are essential to build trust and rapport with clients and their families.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice independently as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida.

• At least one year of experience as an independently licensed therapist, preferably within a mental health or hospice setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
