Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and facilitate connections to community-based services tailored to their unique situations.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices to address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse.

• Provide direct counseling services to clients via telehealth platforms, ensuring engagement and adherence to ethical standards of practice.

• Document comprehensive patient histories, clinical assessments, treatment progress, and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR) system, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss challenging cases, share insights, and enhance treatment approaches for better patient outcomes.

• Educate families and caregivers about psychosocial stressors and coping strategies, empowering them to support clients effectively outside of therapy sessions.

• Respond to crisis situations with appropriate interventions and support, leveraging knowledge of community resources and collaborations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals facing mental health challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and family-related difficulties. A key aspect of our clinic's mission is to serve vulnerable populations, including those affected by domestic violence and child maltreatment, ensuring that every client feels heard, respected, and valued.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is essential.

• Current licensure as an LPC, LMFT, or LICSW in Washington State is required to provide professional mental health services.

• Demonstrated experience providing counseling to a broad spectrum of clients, showcasing cultural competence and sensitivity.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of building rapport with clients and collaborating effectively with team members.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in a community health clinic or a similar mental health setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
