Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Surgery – Plastic Surgeon Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department of Surgery University of California, San Francisco The Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking an outstanding candidate for a full‑time, academic plastic and reconstructive surgeon with an exemplary record of patient care and expertise. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Additional training in microsurgery is preferred. Applicants’ materials must list eligible, and/or pending qualifications upon submission. Primary clinical responsibilities will be in general plastic and microsurgical reconstruction at UC Health locations including Parnassus, St. Francis and Mt. Zion campuses. The position will also support wound care director at the UC Parnassus campus and call responsibility at Zuckerberg San Francisco General (ZSFG) Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center, as well as other UCSF Health locations. Qualifications: Candidates must have recognized skills in the education of surgery residents and medical students and will be expected to be active participants in the Department’s residency training and educational programs. UC San Francisco seeks candidates whose experience, teaching, research, and community services have prepared them to contribute to our commitment to excellence. Salary: The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. The minimum base salary range for this position is $154,700 – $405,900. The position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides eligibility for additional compensation.
