HR Officer

About the Role Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Officer to join their team in Paarl. This role provides essential support across a broad spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment coordination, employee onboarding, HR administration, and assisting with HR projects. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the HR department and maintaining positive employee relations within the organization. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong organizational skills and a good understanding of HR principles and South African labor law, contributing to a well-managed and supportive workplace. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the recruitment process, including advertising vacancies, screening CVs, and scheduling interviews. Manage the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed. Maintain employee records and HR filing systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Provide support to employees on HR-related queries and concerns. Assist in the administration of performance management and training programs. Ensure compliance with company HR policies and relevant labor legislation. Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources Management or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in an HR support or HR Officer role. Solid understanding of HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations. Knowledge of South African labor law and its practical application.
