HR Generalist

About the Role Our client is looking for a versatile and experienced HR Generalist to join their team in Paarl. This role requires a broad understanding of HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, payroll support, and compliance. You will be responsible for supporting the HR department in implementing HR strategies and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the human resources function. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem‑solver with excellent interpersonal skills, dedicated to fostering a positive and productive work environment for employees in Paarl. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive HR support to employees and management on various HR matters. Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete. Assist in the recruitment and selection process, from advertising vacancies to candidate screening. Support the administration of compensation and benefits programs. Ensure compliance with South African labor laws and company HR policies. Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. Requirements A relevant qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline. 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role. Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and South African labor law. Experience with HRIS and payroll systems is highly desirable.
