Project Coordinator, Immunology, Cambridge, MA

Main Responsibilities Develop and execute global public affairs plans to meet the strategic objectives of the Immunology Franchise, focusing on pipeline assets for dermatology, respiratory, and GI conditions. Drive implementation of a robust Global PA strategy to support high-priority business objectives and prepare the ecosystem for significant launches and/or uptake of new therapies. Reinforce Sanofi’s leadership in innovation and patient commitment in immunology. Drive “Where to Play” strategy for priority markets where Global PA can deliver value. Strengthen relationships with patient groups and key stakeholders to center the “voice of the patient” in business strategy and development opportunities. Develop external policy/market shaping strategy for key disease states in priority countries in partnership with local PA teams (identify patients, build advocacy, shape policy to accelerate/sustain access to treatment). Build immunology expertise within the PA community. Collaborate with local PA teams to ensure global strategies reflect local realities and the relevance/utility of global tools. Leverage resources across US and Corporate Affairs functions to secure alignment and champion a consistent “one voice.” Pull through global strategic initiatives to support immunology leadership and reputation building. Collaborate with cross-functional partners (clinical development, new product planning, market access, medical, regulatory, commercial) to incorporate external community input, build strategies for early market‑shaping needs (e.g., screening/diagnostics, payment reform, care delivery barriers), and educate external partners on the Sanofi pipeline. Cultivate strategic partnerships with stakeholders and patient groups aligned to priority pipeline assets. Monitor and communicate external threats/opportunities and trends impacting business strategy to TA leadership. Develop and execute external engagement strategy for senior TA leadership to establish commitment to immunology. Qualifications / Required Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree required. 3+ years combined experience across Public Affairs, Market Access, Policy, or Government Affairs with policy‑shaping responsibilities. Experience developing policy and advocacy strategies within an industry (or advocacy organization) public affairs role. Experience working on early‑stage assets and engaging cross‑functionally with R&D and new product planning/BD. Strong collaboration across Local, Regional, and Global teams; proven ability to lead in a highly matrixed environment. Ability to travel up to 30% overall. Required Competencies Strategic thinker; strong understanding of PA’s role in business success. Track record translating strategy to action (developing high‑impact PA strategies; deploying PA tools/tactics). Strong leadership skills to build consensus, influence, and mobilize teams. Effective cross‑functional collaboration in a matrix. Working knowledge of product development lifecycle, competitor intelligence, and early market‑shaping needs. Ability to develop and cultivate relationships with patient organizations and strategic partners. Knowledge of stakeholder groups (multilateral institutions, trade associations, patient organizations) and the healthcare industry. Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments. Preferred Skills & Experience Post‑graduate degree in public health or related field; doctorate or business degree (e.g., MD, PhD, PharmD, MBA or equivalent). Prior experience in immunology.
