Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique mental health needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy, to provide impactful interventions.

• Engage with clients through various formats—individual, group, and family therapy—ensuring an inclusive treatment environment.

• Document clinical interactions meticulously, adhering to ethical standards and legal requirements, in line with organizational policies.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive client care, including case discussions and treatment planning.

• Participate in ongoing professional development, including workshops and training sessions to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in mental health research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC will work primarily with a diverse population of clients, including families, couples, and individuals from varying backgrounds and age groups. Many clients may face substantial barriers to accessing mental health services, and as such, the counselor will need to demonstrate cultural sensitivity and adaptability in treatment approaches, fostering trust and rapport quickly.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

• Active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably within a clinical setting.

• Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards governing mental health care.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of connecting with a variety of clients.

• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software to ensure effective documentation and administrative tasks.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Attractive salary range of USD 70,000 – 90,000 annually, dependent upon experience and caseload.
