Staff Accountant

Beacon Hill Financial is partnering with a growing construction related company that is seeking Contract-to-Hire Staff Accountant. This role is 100% onsite and offers the chance to join a collaborative team with long-term potential and growth. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly financial statements and WIP reports Manage construction billing through systems such as Procore and Textura Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts Prepare journal entries and job cost entries Process sales/use tax filings and support 1099 preparation Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable, and payment activity Support year-end audits and CPA review processes Assist with AP, billing, and project accounting functions Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred 1+ years of accounting experience Construction industry experience preferred Experience with Excel and accounting software Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and strong communication skills Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
