We are looking for an HR Recruiter to support talent acquisition efforts for a growing organization in the waste and environmental services industry. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for a recruiting specialist who can manage hiring activities from initial outreach through offer coordination while building strong partnerships with hiring teams. The right candidate will bring a proactive approach to sourcing, interviewing, and guiding candidates through a smooth and effective recruitment experience.
Responsibilities:• Lead end-to-end recruitment activities for assigned roles, from intake discussions and candidate outreach through selection and onboarding coordination.
• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, define candidate profiles, and align recruiting strategies with business priorities.
• Develop and execute sourcing plans using multiple channels to attract talent with relevant experience for corporate and operational positions.
• Screen applicants, conduct interviews, and evaluate qualifications to identify candidates who match role requirements and organizational fit.
• Manage candidate communication throughout the hiring process, ensuring timely updates and a positive experience at every stage.
• Coordinate interview scheduling, collect feedback from stakeholders, and help drive efficient hiring decisions.
• Maintain accurate recruiting records, track pipeline activity, and support reporting needs within recruitment systems.
• Contribute to recruitment process improvements and assist with talent acquisition activities related to operational or system changes when needed.• Proven experience managing full cycle recruitment across multiple openings and stages of the hiring process.
• Background in corporate recruiting with the ability to support a range of detail-focused positions.
• Strong sourcing skills and success identifying talent through direct outreach, networking, and online platforms.
• Experience conducting candidate interviews and assessing qualifications against defined hiring criteria.
• Ability to build effective relationships with hiring managers and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a detail-focused and candidate-focused approach.
