Our team consists of two experienced physical therapists and a dedicated physical therapy assistant. This position will primarily be onsite at our orthopedic outpatient center, where you will collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify each patient's specific rehabilitation goals and needs.
• Manage a caseload to provide focused, individualized care, typically working with one patient per hour.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment and rehabilitation plans to enhance mobility and pain management.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities to facilitate recovery.
• Empower patients by educating them on exercises and daily activities that promote independence and pain relief.
• Design and adapt fitness and wellness programs that cater to the unique requirements of each patient.
• Motivate and guide patients throughout their treatment journey to achieve optimal functional outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, maintaining clear and proactive communication with patients and their families.
• Thoroughly document all patient care activities in our electronic medical records system (WebPT), ensuring compliance with best practices and regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers (such as orthopedic surgeons, occupational therapists, and nurses) to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. You will work with a diverse age range, from young athletes to older adults looking to regain mobility after joint replacements or other orthopedic interventions. Your role is pivotal in guiding these patients through their rehabilitation, helping them achieve improved functionality and reduce their reliance on pain medications or surgical options.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, though a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is strongly preferred.
• Current, valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• An unblemished professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and the development of structured exercise protocols.
• Experience using electronic medical record systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly valued.
• Demonstrated success in creating and executing rehabilitation plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience in working with post-surgical patients and sports performance rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

The Active Living Orthopedic Facility offers a competitive annual compensation package ranging from $100,000 to $125,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
