Project Manager

With over 50 years’ operating in the Chicago Heavy Civil Construction space, our client experienced their best year in 2025 (both revenue & project starts) and are looking to continue this growth in 2027 and beyond. This Heavy Civil PM will play a significant role in their strategy by leading multiple projects in the Chicagoland area for both private sector clients and for IDOT/ISTHA. Candidate Requirements Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field/equivalent experience Heavy Civil background with minimum of 6 years managing construction projects Ability to manage multiple projects and personnel simultaneously Knowledge of construction, design, cost reporting and cash flow management Proficiency in Project Management and Scheduling Software OSHA 10, OSHA 30 certification Ability to run multiple projects at a time ranging from $2M-$40M ISTHA or IDOT experience preferred Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for managing and directing the project team by providing the communication, coordination and follow-up necessary to meet project goals and objectives. Maintains ongoing training and mentoring of project team. Directly responsible to senior management. Provides ongoing project information and project reviews as required by management. Coordinates training and compliance measures to ensure project procedures are followed. Ensures scope of work, schedule and budget are clearly defined and understood by senior management and all project participants, including the client.
