The Role

We are seeking a friendly and organized individual to join our team as a barbershop Operations Assistant. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth operation of the barbershop. This position requires availability to work evenings and weekends. What You’ll Do

Greet and welcome clients as they arrive at the barbershop

Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using our booking system

Provide information to clients regarding services, pricing, and availability

Maintain a clean and organized reception area

Sweep and tidy up the barbershop floor regularly

Fold and organize towels and other linens

Assist barbers with any administrative tasks as needed

Handle cash and process payments accurately

Manage inventory of retail products and restock as necessary

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Proficient in using computer systems and booking software

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
