Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to connect with patients from the comfort of your own space while leveraging advanced telehealth services. We provide our counselors with the necessary technology and tools, making it easy to assess, diagnose, and treat patients efficiently. Your regular work schedule will be from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, encouraging a strong work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their mental and emotional needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Engage with trauma injury patients to understand their struggles, providing empathetic listening and support throughout their recovery journey.

• Diagnose mental health disorders and work collaboratively with patients to create effective coping strategies tailored to their specific situations.

• Educate patients on stress and trauma coping mechanisms, empowering them to take an active role in their own healing process.

• Continuously monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Coordinate with healthcare providers, social services, and community outreach programs to ensure comprehensive support for patients.

• Participate in professional development through continuing education courses to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification and stay updated on best practices in mental health counseling.

• Recognize and report any emerging needs or concerns in the patient population to improve service delivery within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be primarily focused on working with trauma injury patients who are dealing with a variety of mental health challenges. Many of these patients have experienced significant emotional or psychological distress due to traumatic events. Your expertise will guide them through their recovery process, turning their struggles into avenues for growth and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.

• A valid Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) credential, ensuring compliance with state regulations.

• At least 3 years of direct experience working with trauma patients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their unique needs and challenges.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to manage documentation and administrative tasks efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits\n
