This position is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance, while also providing essential outpatient services to our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to determine patient needs and treatment goals.

• Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based therapeutic modalities for trauma recovery.

• Engage in regular therapeutic sessions with patients to monitor progress, exploring coping strategies and personal goals.
\n
• Educate both patients and clinical staff on effective trauma-informed care and stress management techniques.
\n
• Collaborate with external healthcare providers and community resources to ensure comprehensive patient support.
\n
• Maintain up-to-date documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and participate in case management as required.
\n
• Actively pursue continuing education to not only sustain your National Certified Counselor certification but also to stay abreast of emerging mental health practices.

• Advocate for the needs of trauma patients within our community by sharing insights and developing programs aimed at enhancing our service offerings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will predominantly focus on trauma patients who often face complex emotional and psychological challenges resulting from adverse experiences. This includes individuals who have suffered from accidents, abuse, or other forms of significant trauma. You will be responsible for creating a safe environment where clients feel empowered to share their experiences and actively participate in their healing process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.

• Current license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.

• At least three years of professional experience providing therapy, specifically with patients who have experienced trauma.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfortable using technology for virtual counseling sessions.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure effective interaction with clients and team members.

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with Salesforce and electronic medical record (EMR) systems is considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n
