Make a meaningful impact as a Speech Therapist in a contract position supporting students throughout the full 2026-2027 academic year. Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active or eligible New York State SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates strongly encouraged
• Previous experience working with children in school settings preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to cultivating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy, up to 40 sessions per week (30 minutes each), in alignment with student IEP goals
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting a range of communication needs
• Complete assessments, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize intervention strategies
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district guidelines
• Foster a safe and engaging environment that promotes student success

This position runs from Tuesday, September 8, 2026, through Thursday, June 24, 2027, with daily hours from 7:45 AM to 3:00 PM, designed to support work-life balance.
