Accounting Supervisor

We are supporting a privately held, multi-entity organization in Las Vegas that is looking to add an Accounting Supervisor to its finance team. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for overseeing accounting staff and supporting day‑to‑day accounting operations across a complex, fast‑paced environment. The right person will be highly organized, deadline‑driven, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy, internal controls, and company policies are followed. Responsibilities include: Oversee and support accounting staff with daily and monthly accounting functions Prepare, record, and review period‑end journal entries including prepaid allocations, accruals, revenue entries, and other close‑related activity Support cash management, bank reconciliations, transfers, daily reporting, and process improvement initiatives Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations Review payroll funding and allocations, ensure payroll is recorded accurately, and assist with bonus calculations Manage intercompany allocations, reimbursements, credit card processing, and related accounting activity Prepare jurisdictional tax filings and maintain business licenses Support tax audits and annual tax packet preparation as needed Ideal background: 4+ years of experience in a fast‑paced accounting environment Prior supervisory experience required Strong understanding of month‑end close, journal entries, reconciliations, cash management, payroll allocations, and intercompany accounting Experience in a multi‑entity, multi‑location, real estate, property management, hospitality, or similar operating environment is a strong plus Advanced Excel skills Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to operate with urgency in a deadline‑driven environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Location: Las Vegas, NV Schedule: On‑site Employment Type: Full‑time, exempt This is a strong opportunity for an Accounting Supervisor or experienced Senior Accountant with leadership experience who enjoys hands‑on accounting, team oversight, process improvement, and working in a high‑volume environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
