Accounting Supervisor

We are representing a premier, privately-owned live entertainment and major events company in Las Vegas looking for a Lead Accountant/Accounting Manager . It is an hourly position with mandatory overtime during peak event seasons, allowing you to realistically push your total compensation into the six-figure range . What You’ll Do Lead & Mentor: Oversee and review the day-to-day work of two Junior Accountants, shifting the department's structure to a more efficient leadership model. Process Optimization: Identify operational gaps and streamline legacy processes to increase departmental capacity. Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage full-cycle A to Z accounting (AP, AR, and reconciliations) across three distinct entities using QuickBooks Desktop and Online. Month-End Support: Partner directly with the Controller to expedite month-end close, financial reporting, and consolidations. Systems Migration: Act as a key player in an upcoming Q4/Q1 ERP system implementation (migrating from QuickBooks to Sage or NetSuite). What You Bring Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Experience: 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience. Senior Accountants ready to step into a leadership/supervisory role are highly encouraged to apply. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop & Online) and intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs experience needed). ERP implementation experience is a massive plus.
