Accounting Manager

Vaco is seeking an Accounting Manager in Las Vegas, Nevada! What stands out about this role? Positive Corporate Culture and a Collaborative Team Environment Comprehensive Benefits Package Responsibilities Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and internal policies Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and performance feedback Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiency Requirements 5+ years of experience including formal leadership (required) Experience in construction or related industries, with a deep understanding of job costing, revenue recognition, etc. Degree in Finance or Accounting (required) Ability to own the month end close process Ability to go on site 5 days a week Salary $110-120k plus bonus Compensation and Benefits Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 plus bonus.
