Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to develop individualized therapy strategies tailored to their unique circumstances and needs.

• Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Maintain accurate and current clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity in all documentation.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive client care and ensure the best possible outcomes.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and training to stay informed about the latest research and mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with diverse client populations, including individuals dealing with mental health challenges, families seeking counseling, and couples in need of relationship support. Your expertise in specialized areas such as trauma, substance misuse, and family dynamics will enable you to make a meaningful impact on your clients' lives.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

• Minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally in a clinical client-focused setting.

• Strong understanding of legal, ethical, and professional standards in mental health care.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport and build trust with clients.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively with a health care team.
\n
• Proficient in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and various technological tools that facilitate client care.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization or advanced training in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use counseling is highly preferred.

• Experience implementing and adapting therapeutic modalities to meet the needs of various demographic groups.

• Demonstrated competence in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n
