Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough mental health assessments to identify and evaluate the needs of children and adolescents.

• Stay updated on the latest research, evidence-based practices, and advances in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily provide care to children and adolescents aged 5 to 18, addressing a variety of common mental health issues, such as anxiety disorders, depression, and attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Engaging with both clients and their families, you will work to create a supportive environment that fosters trust and open communication, essential to effective treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, demonstrating effective engagement with children and adolescents.

• Deep understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, a variety of therapeutic modalities, and evidence-based practices.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate approach to child-centered therapy.
