Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $21.91 / Hour Job Schedule Tues: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public‑facing spaces, verifying access permissions and reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns. Support Allied Universal and site personnel with incident reporting, post orders, and preparedness activities while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic government environment. Minimum Requirements Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security‑related experience, or a college degree. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. A state, county, or city issued security‑related license is preferred. Handcuffing certification is preferred. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
